Checkers Rules

• The game is played on an 8x8 board with alternating black and white squares.
• Each player starts with 12 pieces placed on the dark squares of their first three rows.
• Pieces move diagonally forward, one square at a time.
• If an opponent's piece is diagonally adjacent with an empty space behind it, you must jump over and capture it.
• Multiple jumps are allowed if possible.
• When a piece reaches the last row of the opponent's side, it becomes a King and can move both forward and backward.
• The game ends when a player captures all opponent's pieces or blocks them from making a move.

Winning Strategies

• Control the center of the board to limit your opponent's movement.
• Advance your pieces as a team instead of spreading them out.
• Always look for double and triple jump opportunities.
• Force your opponent into making bad moves by setting up traps.
• Promote your pieces to Kings as soon as possible for greater movement control.
• Try to keep a few pieces in the back row to prevent the opponent from getting a King.
