What you can play

  • Checkers — the classic 8×8 American game.
  • Pool Checkers — 8×8 with flying kings and free capture choice.
  • Spanish, Portuguese, and Czech Checkers — the Spanish family, with flying kings and capture-priority rules.
  • Russian Checkers — Shashki, where a man crowns mid-capture and keeps jumping as a king.
  • Brazilian Draughts — 8×8 with flying kings and maximum capture.
  • International Draughts — the 10×10 world-championship variant.
  • Canadian Checkers — International rules on a huge 12×12 board.
  • Filipino and Moroccan Checkers — the mirrored-board games of the Philippines and North Africa.
  • Italian Checkers — Dama, where a man may never capture a king and equal captures are ranked by quality.
  • Turkish Checkers — Dama on all 64 squares, with men that move straight or sideways and rook-moving kings.
  • Arab Checkers — Arab Dama, the same orthogonal game as played across the Levant and the Gulf.
  • Chinese Checkers — not strictly checkers (it's Stern-Halma, a Halma-family race game with no captures), but we host it honestly labeled because people love it.

How it works

Every game runs entirely in your browser. You can play against the AI at beginner, easy, medium, or hard difficulty, or share a screen and play a friend in hot-seat mode. The AI uses a minimax search with alpha-beta pruning, running in a background worker so the board stays responsive.
