How does the rating system work?
Every rated game updates a Glicko-2 rating per variant, plus one overall rating across variants. The full explanation — starting rating, provisional games, and how numbers move — is on the ratings page.
What are the rules for a specific variant?
Each variant has its own rules page covering board size, how men and kings capture, promotion, and the draw law. Find them from the variants hub.
How do I change my name, country, or delete my account?
Sign in and open your account panel to edit your handle and country or delete your account. Deletion removes your personal data and anonymizes your past games.
The game is not working or I found a bug.
Single-player and pass-and-play run entirely in your browser, so a hard refresh clears most glitches. If it persists, tell us below which variant, device, and browser you were using so we can reproduce it.
